Sony (NYSE:SNE) has sent out invites for a PlayStation-related event on February 20th. Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed by the Wall Street Journal (paywall) that this unveiling is for the Playstation 4. It seems likely the new PS4 will hit shelves in good time for this coming Christmas.
