People really do love posting pictures of their food, and the proof is in the stuffing. Today, photo-sharing service Instagram revealed that it had its busiest day so far when users posted more than 10 million Thanksgiving-related photos. The company said in a blog post that during peak hours on Thursday, people were posting more than 200 photos every second; overall, the number of shared photos doubled the amount from the day before. By comparison, Instagram users uploaded around 800,000 photos during Hurricane Sandy, and more than 100,000 images on Election Day.
