If I don’t Get My Football Back: Adidas

if i dont get my football backIf I don’t get my football back, I’m gonna get my dad on you…. Classic lines from just about every 8 year old.  Adidas have the greatest advert in the world at the moment - the Jose +10 commercial featuring Beckham, Lampard, Cisse, Zidane and a cast of other world-class soccer, oops, football players - playing with Jose and his little friend.  In the background is a song by Jim Noir, all the way from sunny Manchester singing “Eanie Meany” with the immortal chorus line of “If you don’t give my football back, I’m gonna get my dad on you“.  The song sounds like a hippy song from Cali in the 60’s, but it’s not, it was released in 2004 and it’s straight out of my home town of manchester. 

Want to download the “If I don’t get my football back” song? I have it as a ringtone in MP3 and the full song on my laptop… It’s a great way to chill out during the World-Cup - Go En-Ger-Land!
