Live at Facebook: Here’s what’s being announced today —
This morning, Facebook gathered a handful of press at its Menlo Park campus to announce — something awfully mysterious.
As more than 50 Facebook employees filed into the back of the room, reporters from blogs and magazines gossiped about what the big news could be. Speculation still runs rampant, but we’ve yet to get confirmation from any official source.
We’ll update this post with more info in a few minutes, so stay tuned.
In anticipation of the news, which was hinted at in an invitation a few days ago, investors are growing more optimistic on the company. Facebook stock has risen to its highest price in months and is trading at $31.43 as of this writing.
