Social media titan Facebook has gone down for a large number of users, leaving those affected users less than thrilled this morning.

Last week, a Facebook issue took down websites as large as CNN, BuzzFeed, and Yelp, whose visitors were redirected to a Facebook error page, so scrutiny of the site’s performance is higher than normal.

Two VentureBeat writers and and the site Down For Everyone Or Just Me can confirm that the site is not functioning normally this morning. However, two VentureBeat writers said Facebook was working smoothly for them.
