T-Mobile G1 Revealed - Running Google Android

Andoid Goole Mobile Cell PhoneT-Mobile has revealed the G1 - the first mobile telephone using Google’s Android software. The G1 is the first device seen runnning Android and features a touch screen in addition to a Qwerty keyboard. Unlik the iPhone, the T-Mobile G1 will be available for free on T-Mobile tariffs of over £40 a month in the UK and includes unlimited net browsing. Other features include a 3MP camera, a ‘one click’ contextual search and a chrome based web browser that users can zoom in on by tapping the screen.

Google Chrome to Compete with IE and FF

Google Chrome Web BrowserTuesday is the big day for Google as it releases it’s recently announced open source web browser to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Chrome is designed to be lightweight and fast, and to cope with the next generation of web applications that rely on graphics and multimedia. Sounds a bit like Firefox to me.. The timing of the Chrome release co-incides with the Beta of IE 8.0 recently, methinks the boys up in Redmond will be pretty pissed.
