A clever user has flexed his muscle and demonstrated the power of the interweb this week when his friends Sidekick cell phone was left in a cab in NYC and not returned. The person(s) who ended up with the phone decided not to return it, but to keep it for themselves. The hilarious thing about this sad, sad episode of Web-Drama is the way in which Evan made full use of the web to publicise his friends dilemna and make an example of the new owner of the Sidekick.
The new owners clearly take the attitidue of “finders-keepers” and Evan takes the attitude of “public humiliation” - I’m with Evan, the new owner is a disgrace to society and I’m rather hoping Karma will kick in sometime soon…This story cleary shows the power of Digg and other online communities coming together to get even for evan!
Read the entire, sorry story here at Evans site - he updates it regularly…

I’m always amazed at the hate and jealousy from Scottish football fans. A Scottish MP has thrown his weight behind Trinidad and Tobago to beat England in the World Cup Group B match. “I shall be backing Trinidad and Tobago in that match,” said Peter Wishart, Scottish National MP for Perth and North Perthshire.
But asked if he was “against” England throughout the competition, he replied: “I have very little interest in England.” Mr Wishart then tabled a House of Commons motion wishing “the very best to the Trinidad and Tobago team in the World Cup”.
The motion goes on: “The Perth-based St Johnston player Jason Scotland will be among six Scottish-based members of the Trinidad and Tobago squad. “I believe that following Scotland’s failure to qualify in 2006, this is as close as Scotland will get to the World Cup finals. “I look forward to Trinidad and Tobago’s games in the group stages and hope the team progresses from Group B,” he added.
Of course what he’s really saying is he’s still mad with the English for killing Mel Gibson in Bravehart.
