CSURams With the whole world watching, or at least, a couple of hundred on ESPN2, the CSU Rams stomped, and I do mean stomped all over the flightless falcons from the Air Force Academy last night. Within minutes of the opening bell, the Rams had 2 fumble recoveries in the bag, but alas, zero points on the board.

I think the fans and Sonny were getting a little worried as missed points early on in a game can come back to haunt you at the end. Not last night though, the Rams defence put up some big plays and blocked their hearts out, whilst the offense rushed and ran all night, with a couple of nice throws in the middle to keep the Falcons on the backfoot. End result, CSU Rams 41, AF Falcons 23. Bring on the Christians!

xbox 360 Microsoft’s PR firm called me today offering my a free flight and digs in San Fransisco and the promise of a couple of hours of “alone” time with a new beauty you may have heard of: Xbox 360. Thats right, I’m clearly a big-cheese around these parts, since they didnt invite you, now did they?

I’ll be asking all kinds of dumb questions and taking plenty of cheesy photos, assuming that is, I’m allowed to take them! Btw, I’m not only a blogger, I’m also co-founder/owner of the longest running website dedicated to Xbox and Xbox 360 - it’s called Xbox 365 and is a pretty cool place to hang out if you want to check out the latest news, reviews and images for the mighty console.

Theme:  Apple admits problem with iPod nano

ipod nano Apple has acknowledged customer complaints about flaws in its iPod nano digital music player, saying one problem is a “real but minor issue.” Early iPod nano customers have filled several internet sites with complaints about broken and scratch-prone LCD screens. Macworld magazine quoted Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, as saying the broken screens were due to a “vendor quality issue” that affected “less than one-tenth of 1 percent of the total iPod nano units that we’ve shipped.” Schiller said customers who had broken screens could receive replacements - which is nice.

I think the main thing here is that Apple failed to realize that nano owners would put their new devices in their pocket, (although Steve Jobs brought his out from a pocket during the launch) and that most people have keys, coins and other hard things in their pocket - all ready to do damage…. Hang on a minute, that doesn’t sound quite right..

The Apple dude also said Apple had received few complaints about screen scratches, and that the iPod nano screen was made of the same materials used in other iPods. He said if customers were concerned about scratches, they should use a case. - ROFLMAO!

Theme:  CSU Rams vs. Nevada Wolfpack

The rams finally got back to winning ways yesterday, nailing the Wolfpack 42-21… Although I must confess we only had 35 on the scoreboard when we left Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium (yes, thats the full name for the stadium). For the first 15 mins, the Rams were all over the woeful ‘pack, and I was thinking it would be all over by half-time. But after 2 time-outs, the Nevada coach obviously got his troops riled up and ready to fight, and suddenly our lead didn’t look quite so insurmountable…

By the end of the 3rd qtr though, it was all over with a couple of picks/fumbles (or something), the CSU Rams suddenly looked and played like the team of old… Good job really, we have the fast moving Air Force Falcons in town on Thursday night for a nationally televised game - we don’t want to look pathetic and weak 3 times this season….

Here’s a couple of shots from Hughes Stadium - The New Press Box/Luxury Suites and the 29,000 Fans watching the Rams
29,000 Fans for the home opener -sad to admit, but thats the 4th largest ever! The new Pressbox/Rich seats... pitty they didnt spend any of that money on new seats for the common fans like me - or new bathrooms... yikes!

Digital File Check - the dumbest piece of software yet...The IFPI — the international equivalent of the RIAA — has released a piece of software, make that Malware - that will delete P2P software from your PC - strongly implying that P2P is illegal, which of course, it’s not. According to IFPI, Digital File Check helps to remove or block any of the unwanted “file-sharing” programmes commonly used to distribute copyrighted files illegally. It also allows the user to delete copyrighted music and video files from the “shared folders” of the computer from where they are commonly swapped illegally on the internet.

Digital File Check has been developed by IFPI, representing the recording industry worldwide, in conjunction with the Motion Picture Association, representing the film industry. DFC will be available online and on CD over the coming months in countries including Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

John Kennedy, Super Idiot Chairman and CEO of IFPI said: “Digital File Check is an educational tool aimed at making life easier for people who want to enjoy music responsibly and legally on the internet, or who want their families, friends and colleagues to do so. I’m sure we’ll be soon hearing about how this malware also deletes web-browser content, email database backups and other saved data…
