I just got my hands on a pair of Adidas CSC sneaks (thx Chad)… They completely rock. These rare shoes (try and find a pair on Ebay!) are a collaboration between CSC and Adidas to create their own version of the Top Sala. This black shoe features red and gold accents, which are traditional Chineses colors as well as the team’s colors. Only 350 pairs of these special shoes will be available worldwide. They were released on June 14th and you are pretty much SOL if you need a pair. Sorry guys. In the meantime, I’m still looking for a pair of Ivan Lendl’s or Forest Hills….

As the proud owner of a Porsche Cayenne, I took a look around the interweb to see where I could chat and discuss Cayenne things with fellow owners. Amazingly there was no online community for Cayenne owners. Until now. The Cayenne Club is a place where you can discuss mechanical and technical things about your Cayenne. So if you have an S, GTS, Turbo or the brand new Cayenne Turbo S, head over to the Cayenne Club and join the growing community.

Valentine’s Day is like herpes: just when you think its gone for good, it rears its ugly head once more. No wonder some people prefer to call it VD. Yes, it’s that special time of year when chocolate manufacturers and greetings card companies encourage you to demonstrate the extent of your fondness in cold, hard, cash (or the satin-covered equivalent) on February 14th. If you despise VD then you gotta check out the Anti Valentines Day site at meish.org…. I’ve no clue why they are so mad, but damn, they have some pretty funny cards for you to send to your soon-to-be-ex.
This year, celebrate or commiserate by sending an anti-valentine. Stick two fingers (or one, if you’re that way culturally inclined) at any organisation with a vested interest which prescribes how and when to show your feelings. This year, don’t say it with flowers: say it with bile.

The Internet People video is wonderful. Wonderful and incredibly scary. I love the fact that internet humor and video has come along way since the All Your Base phenom of 2001, however it’s scary to see how many of the memes mentioned or lampooned in the video that I (and you) remember… Probably 90%. I think it should be renamed Internet Life, since most of us spend a great deal of time on the net. Scary stuff dudes. For those not familiar with the Internet People video, I’ve embedded it after the jump - along with links to most of the memes from the video - not that I put in the time, I lifted the list from someone else - kudos to the OP.
And here’s a full on list of most of the Internet People references…

A little window appeared in the corner of my browser on my office laptop this week saying I needed to upgrade my “Viewpoint Player” or something like that. What I soon discovered that Viewpoint is a POS (Piece of XXXX) software that pretends to be a needed service for AOL IM. Let me tell you straight. Let me also tell you - remove it asap - it takes up valuable system resources and valuable screen real-estate inside your IE browser. I can’t believe companies like this still exist. Wores than that, I can’t believe companies still advertise with crappy companies like this. Browser toolbars other than Google and maybe StumpleUpon suck.
To uninstall simply head to your control panel - scroll down to Viewpoint and you’ll see 2 installs, one for a media player (right, a media player!) and one for a toolbar - click the uninstall button and you’ll be a happy surfer again. BTW, just to prove how crappy a company they are, when you uninstall the POS, it quickly opens an IE window requesting feedback - let me tell you, I left them some feedback!
