The rams finally got back to winning ways yesterday, nailing the Wolfpack 42-21… Although I must confess we only had 35 on the scoreboard when we left Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium (yes, thats the full name for the stadium). For the first 15 mins, the Rams were all over the woeful ‘pack, and I was thinking it would be all over by half-time. But after 2 time-outs, the Nevada coach obviously got his troops riled up and ready to fight, and suddenly our lead didn’t look quite so insurmountable…

Ok, so we got streamed by the gophers (again!)… but my earlier prediction of 7-4 could still come true. Man, I hate playing Minnesota, those guys have got an incredible rushing playbook, and they rolled right on thru the CSU middle line. Justin Holland, the kid who looked so promising 3 years ago is once again in the middle of a battle. Sure, he can throw, but he’s no BVP when it comes to hauling ass during the blitz. Every time the offence got the ball I was holding my breath. That being said, our special teams are terrible, just terrible, I don’t hold my breath when they trott out to play ball, I panic, knowing full well it could be another TD for the opposing team.

Here we go again! My Prediction for this season: 7 -4. Bring on the puffs, er buffs. Gary Barnett is such a dick. I think the only reason he kept his job is cause the whiners at 950thefan (local talk show radio for the buffs/broncos and anything that’s not Green and Gold) said he wasn’t the problem…. Riiiiight. Anyways, I must stick with a positive outlook…
